Special effects (SFX): Artificial effect used to create an illusion in a movie.
ReplyDeleteIf you choose to do this question, you need to write about a movie that has alot of effects both audio and video eg. sound effects, editing effects, etc.
A movie you shouldn't write about its SPX is something like Lost In Translation, which doesn't use any SFX at all... However, a film like Kill Bill is full of SFX, like the fake blood, the stabbing, the fighting, the editing, makeup, etc...
So special effects is different to special techniques, because techniques focus on the "technical" side of the film - montage, slow-mo, long take, etc.
Makes sense?
